For the men, however, it is a different story. It is not known when men started shaving their pubic hair, maybe because men don't talk much about it or that it may not be so big an issue to them, but now a lot of men are admitting to shaving their balls (scrotum) and even their penis.

Learn About Shaved Balls

One of the reasons why some men prefer to have shaved balls is because it makes their penis appear longer during erection. With pubic hair, the shaft seems a bit shorter than it looks, since the hair tend to cover parts of the shaft. Removing the hair will expose those areas and and the shafts entire length.

Having shaved balls can be attractive to women. Some said they enjoy foreplay better as they can explore the uncovered areas, while others enjoy the friction better during intercourse without the hair getting in the way.

Another reason is hygiene. Pubic hair can contain bacteria which causes foul odor. This would definitely be a turn off. If shaving is not your style, keeping the hair trimmed in that area can help in maintaining the hygiene. Good hygiene makes your private parts healthy as well.

Religion and tradition may also play a part in having shaved balls. Still, the reason behind this is hygiene.

If you prefer to shave than trim, there are several options you can choose:

1. Use of razors or shavers

- this is the most common method in shaving. It's cheaper and more private since you can shave in the privacy of your home. Razors are the preferred choice and it is recommended to use a brand new, non-disposable razor. Alternatively, you can use an electric shaver that is made for pubic hair removal. It may be a bit expensive, but it is easier to use.

2. Hair removal creams for male or depilatories

- these products are good for keeping you hairless for several days. Unlike razors where you need to regularly use (every 2-3 days), depilatories can delay hair growth for a longer time since it will dissolve the hair. It is painless (you just have to apply the cream and wipe the hair away), but you have to check for allergic reaction first before applying it in you private areas. Read the label and do a test.

3. Wax

- using wax to remove hair is no longer exclusive to the ladies. Waxing can give lasting results, however, it is painful and more expensive. You need to remember that your privates are sensitive areas and  you need to find a salon that offer waxing down there.

4. Laser

- hair removal user laser has lesser or no pain and can be effective, but it is more expensive and would require multiple sessions. It is recommended to consult a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon before deciding this method.

5. Electrolysis

- this is the option you choose if you want to have permanent removal of pubic hair. It is proven and guaranteed to permanently stop hair growth. It may require one very long session or multiple short ones. Of course, this method is more expensive. If you decide to choose electrolysis, better save up.

Choose the option you like best and know more about it so that you will be better prepared to take the risk.Shaved Balls
